Pipeline Lead

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer to lead and manage pipeline design and engineering activities within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing pipeline routes, alignment sheets, and design bases, ensuring all engineering aspects meet project requirements. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to support construction, testing, and commissioning phases, ensuring seamless integration with stations and process facilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead pipeline design and engineering activities from concept through execution.
- Develop pipeline routes, alignment sheets, and establish design basis documentation.
- Perform and review hydraulic calculations and pipeline sizing to ensure optimal design.
- Evaluate wall thickness, material selection, and design conditions to meet safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate pipeline crossings, tie-ins, valves, and associated facilities to maintain project integrity.
- Review pipeline stress analysis and stability requirements to ensure structural reliability.
- Prepare specifications and material requisitions for procurement and project needs.
- Review engineering documents submitted by vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Provide technical support during construction, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate technical interfaces with station and process facility teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of proven experience in pipeline engineering.
- Strong background in Oil & Gas industry, particularly within EPC or EPCC projects.
- In-depth knowledge of pipeline codes such as ASME B31.4, B31.8, or other relevant standards.
- Hands-on experience with pipeline routing, hydraulics, crossings, and construction processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams effectively.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a competitive monthly salary range of Rs250,000 to Rs350,000. This role requires the candidate to work on-site, ensuring close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
