We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead piping design and plant layout activities within dynamic Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or EPCC projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing equipment layouts, plot plans, and piping arrangements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This role requires strong leadership capabilities and the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines to deliver efficient and maintainable piping systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead piping design and plant layout activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Develop detailed equipment layouts, plot plans, and piping arrangements that optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Review routing for accessibility, operability, and maintainability to support safe and effective plant operations.
- Coordinate piping designs with equipment, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Review piping specifications, line classes, and Material Take-Offs (MTOs) to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate piping stress analysis requirements and determine appropriate support locations to ensure system integrity.
- Review 3D models to identify and resolve clashes, enhancing constructability and reducing rework.
- Lead model reviews and constructability assessments to ensure design feasibility and adherence to standards.
- Review vendor and fabrication drawings to verify compliance with design intent and project specifications.
- Ensure all piping designs comply with ASME B31.3 and relevant project standards, maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in piping design and plant layout within Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or EPCC projects.
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and established piping engineering practices.
- Proven experience in multidisciplinary coordination and leadership roles.
- Familiarity with piping specifications, line classes, and MTO preparation.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with advanced design software such as AVEVA E3D, PDMS, SP3D, or similar 3D modeling tools is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead model reviews and resolve design clashes effectively.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs250,000 to Rs350,000.
- The position requires in-person attendance at the designated work location, offering direct collaboration with project teams.
