We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience in building construction projects, including residential, commercial, and high-rise developments, to join our team in Karachi. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing baseline schedules, monitoring site progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules (Baseline Schedules) using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Establish the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and identify critical path activities for structural, finishing, and MEP works.
- Perform weekly and monthly site progress updates, tracking actual progress against planned schedules.
- Generate progress reports, S-Curves, and manpower/material histograms for management review.
- Identify schedule variances and critical paths early, providing practical recovery plans to mitigate delays.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement teams, and Subcontractors to ensure material and labor availability aligns with schedule milestones.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Sc.).
- 3 to 4 years of proven site planning experience specifically in building construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced MS Excel (formulas and data analysis).
- Strong understanding of building workflows including bored piling, RCC structure, blockwork, plastering, finishing, and MEP sequencing.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Active registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is preferred.
- The role requires working on-site in Karachi, ensuring hands-on involvement with project teams and real-time progress monitoring.
