Platform Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with over five years of experience specializing in workflow automation and no-code/low-code platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing automated workflows and integrations using tools like Zapier and n8n. This role aims to enhance business operations by streamlining processes and improving overall efficiency. The position offers flexibility with remote or hybrid work options based in Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using platforms such as Zapier, n8n, and similar tools.
- Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and business systems to ensure smooth and seamless data flow.
- Create and optimize complex multi-step automation workflows to boost operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve workflow failures, integration challenges, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver effective automation solutions.
- Document workflows, integrations, and technical procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in platform engineering, workflow automation, or systems integration.
- Proven hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, n8n, Make, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and application integration concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage complex, multi-step automated workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient English communication skills with the ability to confidently present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver reliable solutions on time.
