Power BI-Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our finance team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. This role is critical in translating enterprise data into reliable, decision-ready dashboards that support the company’s strategic goals. The analyst will take full ownership of the technical execution of the corporate reporting layer, working independently with minimal oversight while aligning with the finance leadership’s vision. The primary objective is to build, maintain, and continuously update the reporting infrastructure as the business and platform evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development: Design, build, deploy, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards. This includes ongoing modeling and visualization upkeep to ensure dashboards remain accurate and actionable.

KPI Reporting: Query Snowflake to track, analyze, and present key performance indicators that drive business decisions.

Business Logic: Write and modify SQL queries to update reporting logic in response to changing business rules and requirements.

Data Integration: Integrate new data sources into the analytics framework as new platform features are introduced. Manage ELT pipelines using Fivetran to ensure seamless data flow.

Stakeholder Translation: Collaborate closely with the VP of Finance and other business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into functional and scalable data models.

Data Quality and Improvement: Take ownership of data integrity across all dashboards. Proactively identify and recommend improvements to data sources, logic, and reporting processes to enhance accuracy and usability.

Tech Stack: Utilize Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, and Fivetran. The role will also involve working with data from Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central as primary source systems.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and SQL, with hands-on experience in Snowflake.
- Practical knowledge of ELT processes and experience managing pipelines through Fivetran.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage data projects with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
