Power Platform Developer

Vurke is building a global technology-delivery network to support Microsoft partners, systems integrators, consulting firms, and enterprise clients by providing scalable implementation capacity during peak project demands. Unlike traditional recruitment agencies, Vurke’s specialists embed directly into delivery teams on international client engagements. The company focuses on a pre-vetted talent pool specializing in Microsoft AI, Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI, data, and integration technologies, serving projects across North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
Develop enterprise Power Platform applications that combine low-code speed with pro-code extensions, automation, and secure integration. Build canvas and model-driven apps using Power Apps and Dataverse. Create Power Fx formulas, business rules, forms, views, and reusable components. Design Power Automate workflows and integrate applications with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and external services. Develop pro-code extensions using JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, plugins, custom APIs, or PCF controls as needed. Build custom connectors and REST integrations. Implement Dataverse data models, security roles, field security, and business logic. Package solutions and support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including pipelines, source control, and environment promotion. Optimize application performance, usability, and maintainability. Incorporate Copilot and AI capabilities into Power Platform solutions where appropriate. Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and client demonstrations.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of four years’ experience in Power Platform development or closely related Microsoft business-application development is essential. Strong skills in Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power Automate are required, along with proficiency in Power Fx and Power Platform solution management. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration techniques is necessary. Competence in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C# for developing extensions is expected. A solid understanding of Power Platform security, environments, and ALM processes is important. Candidates should demonstrate strong practices in Git/source control and debugging.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
Experience with Copilot Studio and AI-enabled Power Platform solutions is highly desirable. Development of PCF controls and plugins is advantageous. Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or API Management integration adds value. Relevant Microsoft certifications such as AB-400 Power Platform Developer Associate are highly regarded. Certifications like AB-410 for AI-powered Power Platform solutions and the legacy PL-400 are also welcomed.

Vurke evaluates candidates based on personal delivery of projects rather than team participation alone. Technical depth in Microsoft technologies, the ability to clearly explain architecture and production decisions, client-facing English communication skills, independence in distributed teams, realistic rate expectations, current availability, and ability to work overlapping hours with North American, UK, or European clients are key selection criteria.

Engagement Model
Assignments are fully remote and contract/project-based, with durations varying according to client needs. Candidates may be located globally but must accommodate required client time-zone overlaps. Client interviews and project-specific technical assessments may be part of the selection process. Some projects require partial overlap with US, UK, or European business hours.
