Primary Teacher – Class 4 & 5

The Orchid School – Gulshan Chapter 2, located near 13-D, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Class 4 and 5 students across multiple subjects, including Social Studies (SST), Science, English Literature, and Islamiat. This role requires an enthusiastic educator who can create an engaging learning environment and foster students’ academic growth through effective teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach assigned subjects effectively to Class 4 and 5 students.
- Develop students’ conceptual understanding using interactive and student-centered teaching approaches.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, classwork, homework assignments, quizzes, and assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Keep accurate records of students’ academic performance and assessments.
- Participate actively in academic meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective classroom management abilities.
- Capability to teach multiple subjects with confidence and clarity.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Previous experience teaching at the primary level is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in the Cambridge or English-medium education system will be given preference.
- The position requires in-person attendance at the school location.
