Principal Full Stack Developer

Dubizzle Labs is expanding its engineering team in Pakistan, currently composed of over 500 talented professionals. As a Principal Full Stack Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance products and platform features that support our rapid growth across 10 countries.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications across multiple products. Build scalable, secure, and reusable components and modules to enhance system efficiency. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices tailored to business requirements. Optimize applications for speed, performance, and responsiveness to ensure a seamless user experience. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to maintain reliability and stability. Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule. Write clean, modular, and testable code following best software development practices. Design and maintain databases, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization. Participate actively in code reviews to uphold engineering standards across the team. Ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility of applications. Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements to the technology stack.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 3 years in a principal, architect, or technical leadership role. Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Laravel, Node.js, or Python. Experience with front-end frameworks, primarily React.js and Next.js. Strong expertise in SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL. Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Proven track record in building and integrating REST APIs. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices. Deep knowledge of web security principles, including authentication and session management. Ability to write unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend components.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
Knowledge of multi-page and single-page application architectures. Experience with Redis, message queues, or caching mechanisms. Skills in optimizing web applications for performance and scalability. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly in professional English.
