Principal Full Stack Developer

Dubizzle Labs is expanding its engineering team in Pakistan, currently comprising over 500 skilled professionals. As a Principal Full Stack Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance products and platform features that support the rapid growth of our business across 10 countries.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications across multiple products.
- Build scalable, secure, and reusable components and modules.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, modular, and testable code adhering to best software development practices.
- Design and maintain databases, including schemas, migrations, and query optimizations.
- Participate in code reviews and help uphold engineering standards.
- Ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively propose improvements to the technology stack.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 3 years in a principal, architect, or technical leadership role.
- Proficiency in one or more backend frameworks such as Laravel, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with front-end frameworks, primarily React.js and Next.js.
- Strong expertise in SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proven experience in building and integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.
- Strong knowledge of web security principles, including authentication and session management.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend components.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with multi-page and single-page application architectures.
- Experience with Redis, queues, or caching mechanisms.
- Skilled in optimizing web applications for performance and scalability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly in professional English.
