Principal

The University of Balochistan, Quetta is seeking applications for the position of Principal at the University Law College on a three-year contract basis. This leadership role requires a highly qualified individual with a strong academic background and significant experience in the field of law. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative functions of the Law College, ensuring the delivery of quality education, and fostering an environment conducive to research and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the University Law College.
- Oversee academic programs, curriculum development, and faculty performance.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.
- Promote research activities and encourage scholarly publications among faculty and students.
- Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, resource allocation, and staff supervision.
- Facilitate collaboration with legal professionals, institutions, and stakeholders to enhance the college’s reputation and opportunities.
- Represent the Law College in university committees and external forums.
- Support student development through mentorship and academic guidance.

Required Qualifications

- A Ph.D. in Law from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience in legal education or related fields.
- Proven track record in academic leadership or administrative roles within higher education.
- Strong understanding of legal education standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
