Dubizzle Labs is looking for a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer - Frontend to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, Tech Team Leads, QA, and design teams to develop and enhance our frontend applications. You will be instrumental in advancing our development stack and ensuring the scalability of our platform as we expand our user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to resolving production issues.
- Support a diverse range of products with a focus on automation, performance, availability, and reliability.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our industry-leading platform.
- Develop elegant, maintainable solutions for complex problems by writing clean code that adheres to best practices.
- Gain a deep understanding of the product architecture and clearly communicate the position and impact of your product stream within it.
- Mentor peers and provide guidance in a pair-programming environment to foster knowledge sharing and team growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with JavaScript and frontend technologies.
- Proven expertise in React, with at least 6 years in a production-level role.
- Strong understanding of state management libraries such as Redux.
- Experience optimizing and profiling React applications to enhance performance.
- Working knowledge of build tools like Webpack and package managers such as Yarn and NPM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of Server Side Rendering (SSR) with React is considered a plus.
