Principal Software Engineer - Frontend

Dubizzle Labs is looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer - Frontend to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineers, Tech Team Leads, QA, and design teams to develop and enhance frontend applications. Your expertise will be essential in evolving our development stack and ensuring the scalability and performance of our platform as we expand our user base.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to resolving production issues.
- Support a diverse range of products with a focus on automation, performance, availability, and reliability.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our industry-leading platform.
- Develop elegant, clean, and maintainable code by applying best practices to solve complex problems.
- Gain a deep understanding of the product architecture and clearly communicate your product stream’s role within it.
- Mentor and guide peers through pair programming and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience working with JavaScript and frontend technologies.
- Proven track record with React, including a minimum of 6 years in production-level environments.
- Strong knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux.
- Experience in optimizing and profiling React applications to enhance performance.
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and package managers such as Yarn and NPM.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
