Principal Software Engineer

AdalFi is a leading fintech company transforming digital lending in Pakistan by building intelligent credit infrastructure for banks. Utilizing advanced data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, AdalFi enables real-time, automated lending decisions. We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with extensive experience in the .NET framework and a strong background in developing fintech products. This role involves designing scalable systems, tackling complex engineering challenges, and leading a high-performing development team. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, proactive, and an effective communicator. Experience in a product-driven environment is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable fintech applications using the .NET technology stack.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and DevOps.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices in code quality, performance, and security.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance systems, tools, and processes.
- Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to long-term technical planning.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of hands-on software development experience with significant expertise in .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.
- Proven experience working on or leading fintech product development.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing and aligning teams.
