Principal Software Engineer /.Net

We are seeking a proficient .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust web and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET Core and the .NET Framework, strong database expertise, and a thorough understanding of API development alongside modern architectural principles. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions while maintaining high coding standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code by adhering to best practices and design patterns.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
- Work extensively with SQL Server or other relational databases by writing queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
- Implement front-end integrations using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and optionally Angular or React.
- Participate actively in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Support deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines and maintain comprehensive documentation of system changes.
- Apply security, performance, and scalability best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Entity Framework or EF Core, or similar Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.
- Proficiency in SQL Server including writing complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
- Working knowledge of source control and CI/CD tools including Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
