Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate both technical and business aspects of software development, including requirement analysis, design, and application implementation.
- Serve as a principal developer within project teams, offering expert guidance on technical and business matters.
- Take on additional responsibilities to foster team cohesion and collaboration.
- Act as a point of contact for technical issues across multiple projects and work streams.
- Proactively plan and strategize with the team to identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Mentor technical staff, assist in resolving complex technical problems, and lead efforts to overcome challenges.
- Participate in recruiting top technical talent to strengthen the team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience focused on backend application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, particularly with Spring Boot and Micronaut frameworks.
- Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with relational databases including MySQL and Oracle, along with ORM technologies like Hibernate and JPA2.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and Mixpanel.
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and software testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a consulting mindset.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team development.
