Principle Software Engineer (.NET)

Cinnova is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer (.NET) to join our expanding team in Lahore. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical planning, architecture, development, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define technical, operational, and user requirements.
- Design conceptual architectures and evaluate solution options focusing on scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and business goals.
- Lead the design and development of high-performance web-based services and applications.
- Develop scalable digital solutions across various products such as web portals, dashboards, mobile apps, and IoT-enabled applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, system design, interfaces, performance, and engineering practices proactively.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers, promoting engineering best practices.
- Work closely with Scrum teams including Mobile Developers, Front-End Developers, QA Engineers, UX Designers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- Collaborate with distributed teams and US-based customers to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches.
- Ensure adherence to coding, security, performance, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective, long-term solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience, with significant expertise in .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core / .NET architecture.
- Extensive experience building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Deep knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms, .NET MVC, .NET Core, REST APIs, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and MS SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of Entity Framework Core and database access patterns.
- Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures.
- Strong grasp of authentication and authorization mechanisms in .NET applications.
- Proficient in React.js, including core principles, state management with Redux and/or Context API, and modern features such as Hooks.
- Familiarity with Ant Design (ANTD) library is a plus.
- Experience with AI-driven or AI-augmented development.

Azure, Serverless & DevOps
- Skilled in designing and implementing serverless solutions using Azure Functions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps for workflow orchestration.
- Strong background in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture, deployment, monitoring, and scalability on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
