Printing & QC Assistant

Located in SITE, Karachi, this full-time position offers a monthly salary ranging from PKR 45,000 to 60,000. The role involves operating printing machinery and ensuring quality control in the production of corrugated cartons. Working hours are from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The successful candidate will work closely with senior printers and be responsible for maintaining high standards in printing and packaging processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate printing machines under the guidance of senior printers to ensure smooth production.
- Monitor printing quality, including color accuracy, layout alignment, and registration.
- Inspect corrugated boards and finished cartons for defects such as bonding issues, creasing, ply inconsistencies, and die-cutting errors.
- Perform lab testing, including Bursting Strength (BF) tests, and compile detailed reports.
- Verify paper specifications such as GSM, carton dimensions, and quantities to meet production standards.
- Assist in coordinating production planning and investigate any customer complaints related to product quality.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in printing, packaging, or corrugated carton manufacturing.
- Practical experience operating printing machines is essential.
- Familiarity with paper types and specifications, including GSM, BF, ply, kraft, super, and duplex paper.
- Minimum education level of Matric with basic English reading skills.
