We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead and manage process design and engineering deliverables for projects primarily within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or EPC/EPCC sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing key process documentation, performing simulations, and ensuring that all process-related activities align with project specifications and industry standards. This role requires close collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines and active participation in technical reviews and safety assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of process design and engineering deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), heat and material balances, and process datasheets. Conduct process simulations and equipment sizing to optimize system performance.

Review hydraulic calculations, relief systems, and utility requirements to maintain system integrity and safety. Develop process design bases, philosophies, and detailed specifications to guide project execution. Coordinate effectively with Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Safety teams to ensure seamless integration of process systems.

Evaluate vendor documents and package engineering to verify compliance with design criteria. Participate actively in HAZOP studies, design reviews, and technical meetings to identify and mitigate potential risks. Ensure that all process deliverables meet the required project specifications and adhere to applicable industry standards.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is essential. Candidates should have 10 to 15 years of relevant process engineering experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or EPC/EPCC industries. Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or equivalent tools is required.

Strong expertise in interpreting and preparing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and process calculations is necessary. Experience in leading multidisciplinary process engineering teams is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership and coordination skills across various engineering functions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates with a proven track record of managing complex process engineering projects and leading teams will be given preference. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs250,000 to Rs350,000. The position requires working on-site, fostering direct collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking to apply their technical expertise in a dynamic environment while contributing to the successful delivery of large-scale engineering projects.
