Procurement Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and committed Officer to join our technical team, supporting satellite network operations and deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, inventory management, and technical support within a networking environment. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams. The position involves occasional travel for site visits and fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including processing Purchase Requisitions (PRs), coordinating with vendors, obtaining quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records for power spares, technical equipment, and office assets, including monitoring stock levels and forecasting demand.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders, comparative statements, and procurement documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules.
- Facilitate internal and external audits by maintaining comprehensive procurement, inventory, financial, and administrative records.
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and presentations, and maintain an organized filing and documentation system.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant regulations.

Required Qualifications

- Graduation or Bachelor’s degree (BA) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and fieldwork as needed.
- Knowledge of procurement and purchasing procedures.
- Experience in inventory management, asset tracking, and tender documentation.
- Familiarity with PPRA rules and audit requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and record management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Compensation and Work Location

The monthly salary range for this position is Rs37,000 to Rs130,000. The role requires working on-site.
