Procurement Executive

HNS Global is recruiting on behalf of a well-established UAE-based company with over 55 years of experience in Signage, Wayfinding, Outdoor Media, and LED & Digital Signage. The company is seeking motivated Procurement Executives to join their team located in Clifton, Karachi. The role involves supporting international procurement and vendor management activities, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality materials at competitive costs and within agreed delivery timelines. These materials will support projects across the UAE, GCC, MENA, and other global markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Quotation & Commercial Analysis: Obtain and document a minimum of three competitive quotations for each purchase requisition. Conduct clear technical and commercial side-by-side comparisons to support informed decision-making.

- Sourcing & Supplier Coordination: Engage with manufacturers and suppliers from China, Turkey, Thailand, UAE, and local markets. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement outcomes.

- Procurement Operations: Manage the entire procurement cycle including purchase order generation, monitoring production progress, coordinating pre-shipment inspections, and handling shipping documentation and customs clearance.

- Documentation & Logistics: Ensure compliance with international trade terms such as Incoterms, Letters of Credit (LC), duties, freight, and insurance documentation to facilitate smooth logistics and payment processes.

- Database Maintenance: Maintain and regularly update supplier databases, cost analysis sheets, pricing histories, and vendor capability profiles to support procurement efficiency.

- Reporting: Prepare daily updates and regular progress reports on pending purchase requests, order statuses, and delivery schedules to keep stakeholders informed.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on procurement experience, specifically dealing with signage, LED, metals, glass, electrical components, or project-related materials.

- Market Exposure: Proven sourcing experience across international markets including China, UAE, and GCC regions.

- Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret technical drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed material specifications.

- Trade Knowledge: Strong understanding of shipping terms, Incoterms, customs procedures, and payment mechanisms such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and credit terms.

- Software Skills: Proficient in ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, and detailed reporting techniques.

- Attributes: Proactive approach, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a high level of commercial integrity.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience specifically in UAE signage and outdoor media procurement is highly desirable, with at least 6 years in the sector.

- The position offers a competitive salary starting from Rs100,000 per month.

- The role requires in-person attendance at the Karachi office.
