Procurement Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer with practical experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing essential food ingredients, packaging materials, and operational supplies to support smooth business operations. This role requires strong vendor management skills, timely procurement, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring compliance with company policies. The position offers an opportunity to work dynamically, often on the road, and requires someone ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

- Source food ingredients, packaging materials, and operational supplies necessary for daily operations.
- Manage relationships with vendors, including negotiating prices and contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all required materials to avoid any disruption in the supply chain.
- Monitor inventory levels closely and coordinate purchasing requirements to maintain optimal stock.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure all activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on procurement experience specifically within the Food & Beverage industry is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management principles.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills to build and sustain productive supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP software for procurement and inventory tracking.
- Availability to join immediately is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- This role offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs 22,000 to Rs 99,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- The position requires frequent travel as the work location is primarily on the road, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.
