Product Designer

Key Responsibilities

Product & User Experience Design:
- Conduct user research to identify pain points, workflows, and user needs.
- Design intuitive, responsive, and visually compelling user interfaces and interaction models.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to propose and validate design solutions.
- Own design execution in Figma, ensuring consistent, high-quality visual design across products.
- Iterate designs continuously based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytics.

Designing for Market Fit & Sellability:
- Apply a commercial perspective to design, ensuring products are not only usable but also marketable and sellable.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform design decisions that enhance market appeal.
- Translate business goals and customer insights, including input from sales and support teams, into design choices that drive commercial success.
- Contribute to product vision and roadmap discussions from a design and user-experience standpoint.
- Support product demos and pitches by creating compelling design assets that tell a strong product story.

Collaboration with Engineering:
- Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to align design and development timelines.
- Estimate design-related tasks and collaborate on prioritization with the development team.
- Maintain design documentation, specifications, style guides, and prototypes to provide a single source of truth for engineering.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in UX research and UI design for web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Figma is essential.
- Solid understanding of design systems and systems thinking.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, go-getter attitude.
- Experience working directly with engineers and scoping design work within an agile process.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Team-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Knowledge of AI tools and their applications in design.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
- Understanding of business and market dynamics, with experience aligning design decisions to commercial goals or product positioning.
- Familiarity with data and analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hotjar.
- Experience working with Agile teams.
- Familiarity with SaaS products and designing for B2B or B2G markets.
