Product Designer

Cloudelligent, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, is seeking a skilled Product Designer to enhance user experiences across internal tools, client-facing dashboards, and cloud-native platforms. This role requires a hands-on designer who can seamlessly blend structured UX methodologies with polished visual design to simplify complex, data-intensive workflows. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, product teams, and clients, taking full ownership of the product’s look, feel, and functionality. This position offers the opportunity to define problems and shape solutions, rather than simply executing predefined tasks. The working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM CST, and the role is based in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business and user requirements into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Design intuitive and efficient interfaces tailored for data-heavy B2B workflows, including dashboards, admin panels, permission-aware views, and cloud platform tools.
- Maintain and evolve a scalable design system encompassing components, patterns, and tokens to ensure visual and behavioral consistency across products.
- Conduct lightweight user research, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing to validate design decisions, knowing when quick tests suffice and when deeper analysis is needed.
- Clearly and confidently present design rationale to internal stakeholders and clients, advocating for usability and pushing back on requests that may compromise it.
- Work closely with developers during implementation to preserve design intent without hindering delivery timelines.
- Integrate accessibility and responsive design principles into every project from the outset, not as an afterthought.
- Iterate designs based on analytics, user feedback, and support signals after product launch.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in product, UI, or UX design, preferably within SaaS, enterprise software, or B2B platforms.
- A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, including problem framing and design decision-making, not just polished visuals.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and shared libraries at a team or organizational scale; familiarity with Adobe XD or Sketch is a plus but not required.
- Strong foundation in interaction design principles, UX heuristics, and responsive design systems.
- Proven experience designing structured, component-driven interfaces for dashboards, admin tools, or internal platforms—this is essential for the role.
- Ability to balance user needs with technical constraints, timelines, and business priorities, defending design choices beyond aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging non-design audiences and clients effectively.
- Experience working in Agile environments alongside product managers and engineers.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem or cloud-native application workflows, including console patterns, IAM/permission-driven UI, and infrastructure-adjacent tooling.
- Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) to facilitate informed design handoffs.
- AWS certifications are advantageous.
- Claude certifications such as Associate, Developer, or Architect (Foundations) are a plus.
