Product Operations Manager (Tech Experience)

A Europe-based IT firm specializing in software architecture and scalable engineering is seeking a Production Operations Manager to join their team. This role acts as the vital link between Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and other business functions, ensuring smooth product development through aligned teams, data-driven decisions, and predictable delivery. The ideal candidate will independently manage core product operations processes, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement workflow improvements to enhance team efficiency and transparency. This position offers a hybrid work model based in Karachi, with remote options available for candidates from other cities.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage essential product operations processes such as roadmap tracking, planning cycles, reporting, and delivery rituals independently and reliably.
- Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in product workflows without waiting for escalation.
- Utilize AI and automation tools to reduce manual efforts within operational processes.
- Suggest and implement incremental improvements based on experience and team feedback.
- Effectively use collaboration and product management tools to support roadmap visibility and reporting.
- Assist the Product Operations Director with core rituals including weekly programme reviews, quarterly OKR planning and tracking, user research and surveys, quality assurance coordination, customer sentiment monitoring, and product health sessions.
- Analyze surveys, customer feedback, and product data to extract actionable insights that inform decision-making.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to highlight key performance indicators for product teams.
- Communicate data findings clearly to peers, managers, and stakeholders to facilitate informed actions.
- Coordinate across Product, Design, Engineering, and other teams to maintain alignment on goals and timelines.
- Effectively communicate progress and dependencies to stakeholders while anticipating and resolving misalignments.
- Lead smaller-scale initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing and approach agreement to rollout and adoption, with opportunities to take on more complex projects over time.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product operations, program or project management, or a similar role within a product-led organization.
- Hands-on experience with product and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Notion.
- Proven ability to leverage AI for workflow automation and reduction of manual tasks.
- Comfortable working with product data, including extraction, analysis, and presentation.
- Experience with analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Metabase, or Looker is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing processes that span multiple teams and functions.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
