Product Operations Manager (Tech Experience)

A Europe-based IT firm specializing in software architecture and scalable engineering is seeking a Production Operations Manager to join their team. This role acts as a vital link between Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and other business functions, ensuring smooth and efficient product development. The ideal candidate will independently manage core product operations processes, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and enhance team productivity through data-driven decision-making and automation. This position offers a hybrid work model based in Karachi, with remote options available for candidates from other cities.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage core product operations processes such as roadmap tracking, planning cycles, reporting, and delivery rituals with reliability and independence.
- Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in product workflows without waiting for escalation.
- Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Suggest and implement continuous workflow improvements based on experience and team feedback.
- Effectively use product management tools to support roadmap visibility, reporting, and delivery tracking.
- Assist the Product Operations Director in managing key rituals including weekly programme reviews, OKRs planning and tracking, user research and surveys, quality assurance coordination, customer sentiment monitoring, and product health sessions.
- Analyze surveys, customer feedback, and product data to generate actionable insights that inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators for product teams.
- Communicate data findings clearly to peers, managers, and stakeholders to drive informed actions.
- Coordinate across Product, Design, Engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.
- Effectively communicate team progress and dependencies to relevant stakeholders.
- Anticipate and resolve misalignments within and across teams proactively.
- Lead smaller-scale initiatives from problem framing through to rollout and adoption, taking on more complex projects as experience grows.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product operations, program or project management, or a similar role within a product-led organization.
- Hands-on experience with product and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Notion.
- Proven ability to leverage AI for workflow automation and reduction of manual processes.
- Comfortable working with product data, including data extraction, analysis, and presentation.
- Experience with analytics platforms like Mixpanel, Metabase, or Looker is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated success in managing processes that span multiple teams and functions.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
