We are partnering with a rapidly growing US-based Amazon Private Label brand seeking a dedicated Product Owner to manage the entire product lifecycle. This role requires full ownership of product sourcing, factory validation, and ensuring products are shelf-ready, allowing the founder to concentrate on growth and marketing efforts. This is a hands-on position where you will be deeply involved in factory relationships, quality control, and supply chain timelines to prevent delays and returns.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage products from initial specifications through factory selection, sampling, and validation to final shelf-ready status.
- Develop and maintain direct relationships with China-based factories; an existing network is essential as this is not an introductory role.
- Address and resolve quality issues on live products directly with suppliers to minimize customer returns.
- Oversee the launch timeline from the supply perspective, ensuring production, sampling, and shipping align with scheduled launch dates.
- Create clear, technical content for product inserts and instruction manuals intended for customers.
Required Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience sourcing products directly from factories in China without intermediaries or agencies.
- Demonstrated success in taking products from concept and sampling stages through to market launch.
- Strong written English skills, capable of producing customer-facing technical documentation beyond internal communications.
- Ability to independently own and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience working specifically with Amazon Private Label brands, including familiarity with product lifecycle management, listing requirements, and what constitutes a “launch-ready” product on Amazon.
- Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms directly with suppliers is highly desirable.
- Compensation starts at $1,500+ USD per month (paid via Wise), commensurate with experience. Candidates with additional product development and launch expertise may be offered higher compensation.
- The position is remote initially, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work setup in Karachi in the future (no fixed timeline). Candidates should be open to this potential change.
- Monthly pay range in local currency is approximately Rs400,000 to Rs650,000.
