Game District is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Product Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our mobile entertainment products by driving feature design, analyzing user data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design and document new product features, LiveOps events, and progression systems to enhance the player experience.
- Set up, execute, and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses and guide data-driven product decisions.
- Analyze user behavior, product data, and feedback to identify opportunities for improving engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Model and balance user journeys, behaviors, and monetization funnels using spreadsheets and mathematical simulations.
- Conduct competitor research and market analysis to stay informed about trends in the mobile entertainment industry.
- Collaborate closely with Engineers, Artists, User Acquisition, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features with clear objectives.
- Review user feedback from community channels, app store reviews, and Discord to extract actionable insights.
- Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and support the ongoing development of the product roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply, though 2-3 years of relevant experience is welcomed.
- A genuine passion for mobile entertainment products, with curiosity about their design, balance, and monetization.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively with data, spreadsheets, and mathematical models.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with mobile free-to-play (F2P) games, including their core loops, mechanics, and monetization systems.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and basic modeling techniques.
- Understanding of A/B testing methodologies, statistics, or experimentation frameworks.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Educational background in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Familiarity with design and collaboration tools such as Figma and Miro.
