Production Engineer

The company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Controller to manage and optimize production operations at our Karachi site. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise in blow molding and injection molding processes, coupled with strong process control skills, meticulous documentation practices, and a problem-solving approach. This role reports directly to the Production Manager and offers a competitive salary range of 80,000 to 90,000 PKR.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily machine operations, including cycle times, parameter setups, and output targets across manufacturing lines to ensure smooth production flow.
- Maintain accurate and timely production records, shift logs, process monitoring sheets, and defect reports to support quality control and traceability.
- Provide frequent and precise operational and status reports to the Production Manager, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Implement and uphold 5S principles to maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and standardization throughout all production areas.
- Identify inefficiencies, process deviations, and defect trends early, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve product quality.

Required Qualifications
- Hands-on technical experience of 1-2 years working with Injection Molding (IM), Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM), and Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) machinery and systems.
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, excellent reporting capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with 5S workplace organization and lean manufacturing principles will be an advantage.
