Vizone Innovations is seeking a seasoned Production Incharge with over five years of experience to lead and oversee daily production operations, particularly in sheet metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the production shop, ensuring that manufacturing processes such as cutting, bending, welding, assembly, and finishing are carried out efficiently and meet quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise production workers, coordinate with various departments, and ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily production activities within the production shop.
- Plan and schedule production tasks in line with project requirements and delivery deadlines.
- Oversee all aspects of sheet metal fabrication including cutting, bending, welding, assembly, and finishing processes.
- Ensure all production work adheres to quality standards and technical specifications.
- Assign tasks to production workers based on priorities and monitor their performance.
- Track material usage closely to minimize wastage and optimize resources.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to facilitate smooth production flow.
- Monitor production progress to guarantee timely completion of jobs.
- Identify any production issues promptly and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate production records, including job cards, material consumption reports, and daily progress updates.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Uphold workplace safety standards, cleanliness, and discipline within the production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum graduation in any discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication and production shop management.
- Strong practical knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in managing production workers and shop-floor activities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Capability to handle multiple jobs simultaneously and meet production deadlines.
- Understanding of quality control procedures, material management, and workplace safety protocols.
