Production Manager

EZ Edits is a fully remote YouTube video editing and content production agency specializing in helping real estate agents and content creators grow their presence on YouTube. We are seeking a Production Manager to lead our team of Video Editors and Thumbnail Designers, ensuring smooth workflows, high-quality output, and long-term client satisfaction. This role is an independent contractor position, offering flexibility in how and where you work, with the expectation of being reachable during Toronto business hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide Video Editors and Thumbnail Designers to consistently meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks on video drafts and thumbnails before delivery to clients.
- Prepare new client projects by creating creative briefs, setting up squads, and managing drive access.
- Generate sales sample review links for potential new clients.
- Facilitate daily wrap-ups, one-on-one meetings, and regular team reviews on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Coach team members, identify root causes of issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Calculate contractor payments per project and verify invoices for accuracy.
- Assist in writing and refining step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve team efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing video editors, designers, or other creative teams.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for video and thumbnail quality.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as ClickUp, Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets), and Frame.io.
- Excellent written English communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and reliably.
- A disciplined approach to following established processes, with the ability to identify and improve workflows when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- This is a fully remote role, allowing you to choose your working environment while being available between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM Toronto time.
- Most SOPs (37 out of 38) will be provided from day one, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Monthly performance reviews will be conducted with the Business Operations Manager to support your growth and success.
- Compensation is structured as an independent contractor role with monthly invoicing. The initial three months offer a fixed monthly rate of 53,003.16 PKR. After this period, the monthly rate will be adjusted to between 91,700.89 and 182,033.11 PKR, based on performance and mutual agreement.

Performance Metrics You Will Own
- Maintain a compliance rate of 95% or higher.
- Keep the error rate at 5% or less.
- Ensure 93.32% or more of draft reviews and brief updates are completed on time.
- Achieve 93.32% or higher for meeting due dates and early draft approvals within your team.

Hiring Process
The selection process includes an initial offline application screening, followed by a brief unpaid assessment for successful candidates. This is succeeded by multiple interview rounds, which may include up to three interviews. Upon successful completion, an offer letter will be extended, and onboarding will commence.
