Job Title: Production Officer

Reports to: Production Manager / Assistant Production Manager
Location: Kamion Pharma, Plot No. G-4/C, SITE, Super Highway Phase 2, Karachi, Pakistan
The Production Officer will support the Production Manager in managing daily production operations to ensure all activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company procedures, GMP, ISO, and DRAP standards. This role requires close monitoring of production processes, maintaining hygiene standards, and coordinating with various departments to uphold quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager in planning and executing daily production activities.
- Ensure all production work adheres strictly to SOPs, GMP, ISO, DRAP, and safety protocols.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene in production and sterile areas to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise workers to ensure proper adherence to SOPs, safety guidelines, and gowning procedures, particularly in sterile environments.
- Inspect machines and equipment during production runs, promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the Production Manager or Maintenance team.
- Track inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production supplies, alerting the Production Manager in advance of any shortages.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, checklists, and other required paperwork.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Warehouse, and Maintenance departments to resolve routine production matters.
- Report any production delays, problems, or material shortages to the Production Manager immediately.
- Assist during internal and external audits, supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharm-D or D-Pharmacy.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of GMP, ISO, DRAP regulations, and production SOPs.
- Familiarity with production documentation and stock control procedures.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working in sterile or controlled production areas is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of wound dressings, bandages, tapes, patches, or sterilization processes will be considered an advantage.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting skills are essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, on-site position based at Kamion Pharma’s manufacturing facility. Candidates should be prepared to work additional hours during peak production periods as required.
