Production Planner - Sheikhupura

Nestlé Pakistan is seeking a dedicated Production Planner for its Sheikhupura Factory. In this role, you will develop optimized short-term production plans that align with capacity and material availability, ensuring smooth production flow while balancing service levels, costs, inventory, and operational demands.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop feasible short-term production plans within the DPS horizon, taking into account available capacity, manpower, materials, and production constraints.
- Proactively identify and address operational challenges such as plant shutdowns, promotional activities, and evolving production requirements.
- Create optimized replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials to maintain uninterrupted production schedules.
- Coordinate directly with assigned suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of required materials.
- Define and implement appropriate stock policies and inventory management strategies for assigned SKUs.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve material supply and demand issues related to raw and packaging materials.
- Engage suppliers in Supply Chain improvement initiatives aimed at driving efficiency and creating shared value.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure production continuity and alignment with overall business objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Distribution Operations, Warehousing, or related functions.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications; familiarity with SAP Supply Chain or Materials Management modules is preferred.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and successfully lead improvement projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Capability to manage competing priorities and respond efficiently to operational challenges.
