Program Finance Accounting Analyst - TJ / 1901255

Our client, Right Click Consulting (SMC-Pvt) Ltd, is seeking a detail-oriented Program Finance Accounting Analyst based in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background combined with experience in program finance, supporting program management, customer invoicing, and financial reporting. This role requires proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, variance analysis, and general ledger activities, along with familiarity with financial reporting standards and ERP systems such as Unanet. The position involves close collaboration with program managers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting at the program level. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for preparing and delivering financial reports and presentations. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, it plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling efforts.

Key Responsibilities

- Support program accounting and finance activities by working closely with program managers to ensure precise financial management.
- Manage accounts payable, expense reporting, and payroll processes to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Oversee cash management related to invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow tracking.
- Handle customer invoicing, revenue recognition, and program-level financial tracking in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including preparing journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closing activities.
- Utilize Unanet or similar ERP systems for financial processing, reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting by gathering financial data, analyzing trends, and contributing to financial planning efforts.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgets or forecasts and prepare insightful reports for internal stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver financial presentations and reports that support leadership decision-making and customer engagements.
- Build and maintain reports using PowerPoint, business intelligence tools, and other data visualization software to enhance financial communication.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in accounting and program finance within professional services or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Unanet, for financial processing and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, variance analysis, and month-end closing procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Effective communication skills to prepare and present financial reports to leadership and clients.
- Familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling techniques.
- Competence in using data visualization tools and business intelligence software to create clear financial presentations.
