Network Squad Ltd is a specialist provider of reliable IT support, IT infrastructure installations, and advanced CCTV systems. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions that improve business efficiency, security, and growth. We are currently seeking an organized and technically knowledgeable Project Coordinator to remotely oversee UK-based structured cabling and site infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will manage field teams responsible for fibre and copper cable installation through ceilings, raised floors, cable trays, trunking, conduits, and other containment systems. Projects may also involve drilling, cable penetrations, managing access constraints, and coordinating with site and facilities teams. While this role is not a full construction position, the candidate must have a practical understanding of site work, including safe working practices, use of PPE, health and safety compliance, documentation, quality control, and remote supervision of field technicians. The role requires effective communication with UK clients and field teams, schedule management, progress monitoring through photos, videos, and checklists, and handling site escalations as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Experience in structured cabling, low-voltage/ELV systems, networking, telecoms, CCTV/access control, electrical coordination, or relevant construction/site work.
- Knowledge of cable trays, containment systems, ceiling and floor cable routes, drilling, and basic fibre and copper cabling installation quality standards.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including PPE requirements, risk assessments, method statements, permit-to-work systems, and site access protocols.
- Strong command of spoken and written English to communicate effectively with UK clients and field teams.
- Proven ability to coordinate remote teams, manage work schedules, monitor progress remotely, and resolve site issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While not explicitly stated, candidates with prior experience managing engineers or technicians remotely and those comfortable with daily project updates and reporting will be highly valued. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK. The position is based on-site, requiring in-person presence as necessary.

Applicants will be asked about their availability to start, current location, any disabilities or medical considerations, current salary package, comfort level communicating in English with UK clients and site managers, and their experience coordinating construction, ELV, cabling, fibre, or field engineering projects. Additional questions will explore their remote management experience, understanding of fibre and copper cable installation, and the type of information they would request from engineers during daily project updates.

This role is ideal for a technically aware professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex infrastructure projects remotely while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
