We are looking for a motivated electrical or electronic engineering graduate to join our team as a Project Engineer based in Malir Cantt, Karachi. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in project execution and proposal development within the electrical engineering field. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and eager to contribute to various stages of project planning and coordination while working closely with senior engineers and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Support: Assist in reviewing technical specifications, project scopes, drawings, and client requirements to aid in the preparation of project proposals.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Support senior team members by analyzing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, and technical documents to develop preliminary cost estimates and project budgets.
- Project Planning Support: Help project managers and senior engineers in creating project timelines, work plans, and execution strategies.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Work alongside internal departments, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders under supervision to ensure smooth project execution.
- Technical Communication: Assist in preparing proposal presentations, technical documents, and project-related information for internal teams and clients.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and organize project documentation, including drawings, specifications, quotations, reports, and client correspondence.
- Client Support: Aid senior team members in client communication by understanding project requirements, responding to inquiries, and maintaining professional relationships.
- Learning and Development: Gain hands-on experience and develop practical knowledge in construction proposals, estimating, project planning, technical documentation, and client coordination through assigned projects and training.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
- Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with up to six months of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of electrical systems and engineering principles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents proficiently.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
