Project Manager 2

Zones is seeking a Project Manager 2 who is intellectually curious, creative, and skilled in problem-solving and communication. This role requires the ability to influence both business and technical leaders, manage ambiguous requirements, and lead initiatives that improve organizational performance across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies, plans, and measurable objectives for programs and projects.
- Drive demonstrable improvements in Key Process Indicators (KPIs) compared to baseline measurements for each project.
- Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure timely completion of initiatives.
- Ensure all tasks are resolved within appropriate timeframes through effective task management.
- Provide weekly status reports covering service engagements, resource utilization, project status, risks, issue mitigation, and portfolio status.
- Maintain effective communication with multiple stakeholders, teams, and executive management to support project success.
- Lead investigations into undefined areas and ambiguous requirements to define scope, requirements, and deliverables using PMO principles.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Partner and Product Management, Purchasing, Operations, IT, Finance, and Sales to prioritize initiatives that enhance organizational performance, including speed, efficiency, cost reduction, and revenue growth.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program/project management, process engineering, or strategy within a technology or operations environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing a portfolio of programs, multiple projects, and teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and develop actionable mitigation plans.
- Highly analytical with experience using objective data to drive strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and build relationships at all organizational levels, including remote teams.
- Intellectual curiosity with a desire to understand underlying processes beyond task completion.
- Proficiency with Project Management Software and strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
