We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee high-rise building projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors effectively while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. The position involves hands-on supervision of batching plant operations, reviewing technical documents, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor all construction activities to guarantee timely project delivery.
- Lead and coordinate site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain smooth workflow.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, quality assurance, safety protocols, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to facilitate project progress.
- Supervise batching plant operations, ensuring timely production, testing, quality control, and delivery of concrete.
- Review and analyze drawings, technical documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project specifications.
- Verify Bar Bending Schedules, reinforcement detailing, steel consumption, and steel test reports for compliance with approved standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed management reports.
- Oversee finishing works including MEP installations, plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, ceilings, doors, fixtures, and other architectural elements.
- Conduct inspections of completed works, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification and handover to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree is considered an advantage.
- 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in managing high-rise construction projects.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering high-rise building projects.
- Hands-on experience in supervising and coordinating batching plant operations.
- Expertise in finishing works, quality inspections, snagging, and project handover processes.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contract management, procurement, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Competitive remuneration package starting from Rs1.00 per month.
- Work location is on-site, requiring physical presence at the project location.
