We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all technical, administrative, financial, and execution activities at the project site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth project operations, maintaining site security, managing resources efficiently, and safeguarding company interests. This role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality project delivery. The position offers a hybrid remote work setup based in Islamabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the technical, administrative, financial, and execution aspects of the project at the site.
- Ensure proper site security, asset management, cleanliness, and staff facilities while protecting company interests.
- Prepare, implement, and monitor weekly and monthly site execution plans and work schedules to ensure smooth progress.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, subcontractors, and internal site teams.
- Manage timely availability and proper utilization of labor, materials, and other site resources.
- Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and ensure timely submission and approval of material demands, testing requests, and other site documentation.
- Verify vendor and supplier bills, petty cash vouchers, cash books, material ledgers, and other financial records to maintain accuracy.
- Control wastage and project execution costs by ensuring efficient use of materials and labor.
- Maintain and monitor site records, including program registers, store records, attendance logs, and daily progress reports.
- Implement company SOPs, policies, safety requirements, and administrative procedures at the project site.
- Provide regular progress updates, highlight delays or discrepancies, and submit executive-level reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in construction and project execution.
- Strong knowledge of site execution, project planning, and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Proven experience managing labor, subcontractors, materials, and site resources effectively.
- Good understanding of QA/QC, HSE standards, and construction procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD, with strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
