We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with extensive expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and hands-on experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) implementations. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end ERP implementation projects, ensuring coordination across cross-functional teams and delivering results within the defined scope, timeline, quality standards, and budget constraints. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full lifecycle ERP implementation projects, specifically focusing on SCM modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Coordinate and collaborate with business, functional, technical, vendor, and implementation teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, issue resolution, and dependencies.
- Oversee requirements gathering, solution design, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Manage relationships with implementation partners and vendors to ensure delivery meets contractual and quality expectations.
- Facilitate project governance processes, including regular reporting and conducting stakeholder and steering committee meetings.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders to maintain transparency and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in IT and project management roles.
- At least 3 to 5 years of direct experience managing SCM implementation projects.
- Proven track record of managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementations from initiation to completion.
- Strong expertise in project planning, risk and issue management, and resource coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage geographically distributed resources.
- Experience in managing implementation partners and vendors effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with project governance, reporting frameworks, and conducting steering committee meetings.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- PMP or an equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification is an advantage.
- Experience with large-scale or enterprise-level ERP implementations.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing teams and partners across multiple locations or countries.
