We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with extensive expertise in Treasury and Banking domains to oversee comprehensive technology and transformation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project delivery, including governance, stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, risk management, vendor coordination, and ensuring production readiness. This role demands a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex initiatives within regulated banking environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Treasury and Banking technology projects from initiation through to implementation, stabilization, and formal closure. Define clear project scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and governance frameworks. Manage diverse stakeholders across Treasury, Markets, Corporate Banking, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Technology functions to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Oversee project plans, budgets, forecasts, vendor relationships, commercial dependencies, and delivery performance metrics. Maintain comprehensive RAID logs, action trackers, change requests, decision logs, and prepare executive-level status reports. Coordinate solution design, architecture, security protocols, integration readiness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Drive requirements validation, testing phases including UAT, defect resolution, cutover activities, business sign-off, and ensure production readiness. Manage multi-vendor and cross-functional teams operating in both onsite and offshore models. Identify potential delivery risks proactively and escalate critical issues through established governance forums.
Ensure all project documentation, audit evidence, approvals, and handover activities are completed accurately and on time. Support post-production stabilization efforts, benefits tracking, and formal project closure processes.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in technology project or program management, with at least 5 years specifically within banking or financial services sectors. Demonstrated expertise in Treasury, Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, Payments, or Trade Finance domains.
Strong understanding of Treasury processes and products, including foreign exchange (FX), liquidity management, cash management, settlements, and related accounting interfaces. Proven track record managing complex technology and integration projects encompassing UAT, implementation, cutover, and production readiness phases.
Experience in budgeting, vendor management, risk mitigation, governance, and senior stakeholder engagement is essential. Familiarity with regulated banking environments, including risk, compliance, security, and audit requirements, is required.
Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, along with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Exposure to industry-standard platforms such as Murex, Calypso, Kondor, Temenos, Finacle, Finastra, Oracle Banking, or SWIFT will be considered an advantage.
