Proofreader Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Editor Content to join our team in Islamabad on a full-time, onsite basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and quality of our written materials. This position involves editing and proofreading a variety of content, maintaining adherence to style guidelines, and collaborating closely with writers and content creators. The role offers a starting salary of PKR 55,000 and requires strong communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established style guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with writers and content creators to refine and enhance written materials.
- Assist in content ideation and creation, contributing to the development of engaging and high-quality publications.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards under pressure.
- Utilize editing software and tools proficiently to streamline the editing process.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in proofreading.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of grammar rules and style guidelines relevant to professional publishing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant editing software and tools.
