Proposal & Pursuit Specialist - Clients & Industries (C&I) - Pakistan

EY is seeking a Deal Specialist to join the MENA Pursuits Excellence team, based in Pakistan, Jordan, or Lebanon, within the Markets Enablement function. This role is crucial in supporting strategic and high-value pursuits across the MENA region by driving pursuit planning, coordination, and execution. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with client-serving teams to develop winning proposals and effective deal strategies. By applying the Gold Standard Pursuit Process (GSPP) principles and leveraging advanced tools, the Deal Specialist will ensure disciplined and collaborative execution across multidisciplinary teams, helping EY secure new business opportunities and strengthen its market position.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire pursuit lifecycle from qualification through to close, ensuring deliverables meet firm standards and deadlines.
- Develop and monitor pursuit project plans, timelines, workstreams, dependencies, and milestones.
- Lead pursuit strategy discussions and help formulate differentiated win themes that address client needs while safeguarding EY’s interests.
- Create compelling client-facing materials including proposals, executive summaries, and presentations in partnership with stakeholders.
- Support oral presentation preparations and strategic messaging for client meetings and final pitches.
- Maintain pursuit infrastructure using MS Teams, trackers, calendars, and status updates to keep teams aligned.
- Coordinate with creative services, insights professionals, and other internal resources to enhance proposal quality.
- Capture and share knowledge and lessons learned to continuously improve EY’s pursuit practices and tools.
- Promote and utilize AI-enabled proposal development tools to enhance innovation and efficiency.
- Act as the central point of coordination for the pursuit team, ensuring alignment, engagement, and focus on the win strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Service Line, Account, and Business Development leaders.
- Collaborate closely with the Deal Leader to manage internal updates, governance checkpoints, and leadership engagement.

Required Qualifications
- Proven project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear, persuasive, and client-focused content.
- Strong understanding of pursuit and/or business development processes.
- Ability to influence and constructively challenge teams to enhance strategic thinking and output quality.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple competing priorities.
- Creative and solutions-oriented mindset, skilled at leveraging tools and resources effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership presence, able to work with diverse styles and seniority levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in proposal writing and communications, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Familiarity with the MENA region’s business culture and client expectations.
- Business proficiency in Arabic is an advantage but not required.
