We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Protection Cash Management IMS Officer to support our case management efforts across three districts in Punjab and the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). This role involves managing case management data, coordinating with the case management team, and ensuring adherence to protection standards for individuals at risk of abuse, exploitation, neglect, and violence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the principles of respect, dignity, security, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information related to survivors at risk.
- Ensure that all interventions prioritize the “Do No Harm” approach.
- Coordinate timely data collection from case workers in collaboration with the Case Management Supervisor (CMS) and Project Manager (PM), following established guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare and share monthly data analysis reports, including protection risk trend analyses.
- Maintain data compliance on the Protection Cash Management (PCM) dashboard and support caseworkers through timely data entry using CommCare.
- Liaise regularly with the Protection team and participate in case conferencing with relevant Protection Managers.
- Attend project meetings to provide updates on case statuses, including open and closed cases and trend analysis derived from the case management database.
- Identify service gaps or risks reported by survivors and communicate these to the Protection Manager.
- Participate in training and capacity-building activities organized by IRC or as nominated.
- Ensure the secure and confidential storage of data both digitally and in physical files.
- Manage incident records for Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Child Protection (CP) cases and coordinate with the Management Information Systems (MIS) team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of field experience in Protection Case Management, Child Protection, or GBV, preferably in emergency or disaster settings.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in unstable security environments while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of protection case management programs and survivor-centered approaches.
- Flexibility and cultural sensitivity to work within a diverse, multicultural team while respecting local customs and norms.
- Experience coordinating with government agencies and civil society organizations (CSOs).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Openness to feedback and a collaborative attitude.
- Knowledge of community involvement and empowerment issues.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Urdu; knowledge of Pashto is an advantage.
This position reports to the Project Manager Protection and works closely with the Senior Manager Protection and Case Workers internally, as well as with relevant external stakeholders and service providers.
