A leading Chinese technology company is seeking an experienced PS Core Planning Assistant Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PS core network monitoring, network design, project support integration, commissioning, and new node acceptance. This role requires a strong understanding of core network elements and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure optimal network performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization and analyze growth trends across PS core network elements to ensure efficient operation.
- Interpret and understand end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for PS core products, including SGSN, MME, SGW/PGW, and PCRF/UPF.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors such as Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, and Ericsson, as well as contractors and internal departments, to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend the best technical solutions.
- Take ownership of network safety and ensure compliance with relevant standards and protocols.
- Support project integration activities, including commissioning, implementation, and acceptance of new network nodes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in the core network domain, particularly within the PS (Packet-Switched) area.
- Familiarity with basic communication and data communication principles.
- Knowledge of EPC (Evolved Packet Core), 5GC (5G Core), UPCC, NFV architecture, and telecom cloud solutions.
- Ability to independently perform engineering commissioning tasks.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with junior-level technical customers regarding technical solutions, project plans, and progress.
- Demonstrated capability in customer requirement analysis, management, and technical problem-solving.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues through accurate analysis and fault localization.
