A leading Chinese technology company is seeking an experienced PS Core Planning Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PS core network planning, capacity analysis, network design, optimization, and project support integration. This role demands a proactive professional capable of managing complex network environments and collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure optimal network performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization, analyze growth trends, forecast traffic, and conduct capacity analysis across PS core network elements.
- Develop and understand end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for PS core products, including SGSN, MME, SGW/PGW, and PCRF/UPF.
- Recommend and implement network optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors such as Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, and Ericsson, as well as contractors and internal teams, to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend the best technical solutions.
- Ensure network safety and reliability by adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Support project integration activities including commissioning, implementation, and acceptance of new network nodes.
- Contribute to team capability building and foster a positive working environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in core network engineering, with a strong focus on the PS domain.
- Solid understanding of basic communication and data communication principles.
- In-depth knowledge of EPC, 5GC, UPCC, NFV architecture, and telecom cloud solutions.
- Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems accurately and efficiently.
- Strong skills in customer requirement analysis and management.
- Effective communication skills to engage with technical customers at various levels, from junior engineers to senior management, regarding technical solutions, project plans, and progress updates.
