Purchase officer

Gerry’s Leisure Plus (Pvt.) Ltd., a prominent player in the Food & Beverage and Hospitality sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to join its team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely availability of goods, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support the company’s operational needs. This role requires effective coordination with multiple departments and a focus on cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities to meet operational requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize terms to secure the best deals.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Warehouse, Finance teams, and vendors to ensure smooth procurement flow.
- Ensure timely delivery and availability of required items to avoid operational disruptions.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Monitor market trends and prices to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Relevant experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Retail, or Restaurant industries.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities to work effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
- Candidates residing in Islamabad or Rawalpindi will be given preference.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- This is an in-person role based in Islamabad.
- The monthly salary range for this position is Rs50,000 to Rs60,000.
