We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team and support the purchasing process within a dynamic project environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement requests, obtaining supplier quotations, and ensuring timely follow-up on orders. This role requires close coordination with suppliers, stores, and project teams to maintain smooth delivery and accurate record-keeping. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to procurement efficiency and support overall project success.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and process approved procurement requests while maintaining accurate procurement records.
- Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and prepare detailed quotation summaries and comparative statements.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Stores and Project Teams to facilitate timely receipt and handling of deliveries.
- Maintain and update the supplier database and procurement files to ensure data accuracy.
- Track pending Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and supplier commitments to support procurement planning.
- Support procurement reporting activities and assist in the preparation of relevant data for management review.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, demonstrating familiarity with procurement processes and supplier management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in construction or project procurement is highly desirable, providing an understanding of the specific challenges and requirements in this sector.

Work Location

- This position requires in-person attendance at the designated work site.
