Purchaser – Construction Procurement

We are seeking a dedicated Purchaser specializing in Construction Procurement to join our team at Naya Nazimabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing construction materials and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project needs. This role requires effective coordination with various departments and suppliers to maintain smooth operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Procure construction materials, equipment, and site supplies according to project requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) accurately.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites to avoid project delays.
- Coordinate closely with Site, Store, Quantity Surveying (QS), and Finance teams for seamless procurement operations.
- Maintain detailed procurement records and focus on cost-effective purchasing strategies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in construction procurement or purchasing.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, current market rates, supplier networks, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP or SAP systems.
