This full-time, on-site Python Developer position is based in Islamabad and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and applications. The role demands ensuring system reliability, scalability, and high performance while working closely with cross-functional teams. The developer will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and testable code, integrating databases and APIs, troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems, and participating in code reviews. Collaboration with front-end developers, QA, and DevOps teams is essential, as is contributing to software architecture discussions and implementing best practices related to security, documentation, and deployment. The position involves supporting ongoing projects for both international and local clients, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Python.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
- Integrate databases and APIs to support application functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for improved performance.
- Collaborate effectively with front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture discussions.
- Implement security best practices, maintain documentation, and support deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

- Strong programming skills with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience in back-end web development using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Proficiency in software development practices including version control (Git), testing, and debugging.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL database design, optimization, and integration.
- Ability to design and integrate APIs, including REST and GraphQL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
