Python Intern

BLS Solutions is seeking a motivated and talented Python Intern to join our development team for a 3-month paid internship. This role offers hands-on experience working on real-world projects involving Python, APIs, web applications, and backend development within a professional software environment. There is potential for conversion to a full-time position based on performance, technical skills, and overall contribution.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications and backend features.
- Work with APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Assist in developing and integrating AI/ML-based features.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Work with relational databases and perform basic database operations.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to software development best practices.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies as required by projects.
- Collaborate effectively with developers and team members to meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications
- Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Solid grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
- Basic knowledge of web application development and how web applications function.
- Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL.
- Familiarity with APIs, HTTP requests, and backend concepts.
- Knowledge of software development practices, including debugging, version control, and writing maintainable code.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Pursuing or completed a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
